I've been sitting on this comic the past few days. I thought I 'd finally post it, partially because I had another dream about my grandma's neighborhood this morning. This time "they" were digging up the park we used to go to and doing some sort of construction. I was snooping around taking pictures of everything trying to remember all the times I spent in that park. In particular I saw a giant fountain that was part of the park as a kid in my dream, but is not actually part of the park in real life. It's weird how my brain embellishes things beyond recognition but my consciousness still recognizes it.

Anyways, I don't really know whats up with these grandma dreams lately. The only thing I can think of is when going on a job interview a couple weeks ago. I followed some mapquest directions to an address in Milwaukee, while what I really needed was the same address only in South Milwaukee. Coincidentally the Milwaukee address landed me right near her old neighborhood, in fact I drove right past the park in my dream. though somehow I missed seeing the house she actually lived in

I'm really kinda scanning these all out of order this entry is almost 6 pages behind my last entry.

I feel bad wasting paper so a lot of times I'll just go back and fill up a page with stuff on it already. This could explain why I never finish any sketchbooks.

20 minute to a half an hour drawing, made before work. During which I was complemented by a lady Nevermind that she couldn't see my drawing, because I cover up like I'm taking a test when someone gets near. Really I could have been drawing something horrible.

I drew this for the Covered Blog, it was quite a bit of fun to do. I may do another at some point. One thing though is I don't really care for drawing Woozy Winks, he's pretty ugly character. In fact, I was tempted to leave him out of my version, I thought, he kinda ruined the dynamics of the composition. Then I thought it wouldn't be a true "cover" I if I left him out. so whatever.

So my coworker and I have been spending the past couple months at work, in between advertisements (aka real work) working on a flash game. I just decided to scan in some drawings from other sketchbooks I have lying a around. All of which are half finished I might add. Really should try to push through and finish them. I always think buying a new sketch book will get me to draw something awesome.

1. Drawing of my Kodak Hawkeye, one of three in my collection. the other is a sketch of Jitterbug fishing lure which belong to my dad when he was a kid

2. A drawing from my first time out at the Milwaukee Drink and Draw. I had no idea what to draw that night so I decided to draw that.
